Moscow Opposes Iranian Exit From Nuclear Treaty as Tehran Threatens Regional Infrastructure

President Donald Trump has rejected a new plan put forward by Iran on the sidelines of United Nations meetings in New York.

Moscow has signalled that it does not want Iran to withdraw from the nuclear treaty, adding another point of contention to the diplomatic exchanges.

Meanwhile, Tehran has threatened to target infrastructure across the Middle East. The threat comes as Iran continues to await Washington’s formal response to its proposal.
