Major General Mohamed Mahmoud Gad Mustafa was born in 1962 in the village of Mit Suhail, Minya al-Qamh District, Sharqia Governorate. He received his education in the district's schools before joining the Police Academy, graduating in 1983 to begin a prolific security career that spanned many years across several important locations and sectors within the Ministry of Interior.

He managed to reach the runoff round in one of Sharqia Governorate's most competitive constituencies, obtaining more than forty thousand votes, in an experience that reflected his presence and popular base within his hometown.

Despite not winning the parliamentary seat, his activity in party and community work continued. He assumed the secretariat of the Mostaqbal Watan Party in the Minya al-Qamh center and participated in managing and organizing several service events and initiatives, in addition to communicating with citizens, listening to their problems, and participating in convoys and activities aimed at supporting the residents of the center and its affiliated villages.

From working in public security and criminal investigation, through leading the Ismailia investigations and the Suez Security Directorate, to the position of First Assistant Minister of Interior for the Canal Cities Sector, Major General Mohamed Gad's career reveals long years of work within locations that do not tolerate error or hesitation. He bore security responsibilities in extremely important areas, gained extensive experience in dealing with crime, crisis management, and leading work teams, then chose after the end of his official service to continue in public work and serving citizens.

The approach of serving the nation and the rule of law extended to Major General Mohamed Gad's sons; his son, Counselor Mahmoud Mohamed Gad, holds the position of Prosecutor and Director of the October Prosecution, while his second son, Captain Ziad Mohamed Gad, holds the position of Director of the Office of the Director of Giza Security.
