Away from the spotlight.. Independent candidates enter the US presidential race with unconventional ideas

Amid the heated conflict between the Democratic and Republican parties for the US presidency, a number of independent candidates stand out, seeking to break the traditional partisan duopoly by putting forward unconventional electoral programs aimed at attracting voters frustrated by the policies of the major parties and the choices offered in the arena.

These candidates face complex challenges related to the requirements for inclusion on ballots in various states, as well as weak funding compared to the campaigns of the main candidates; however, they rely on digital platforms and direct communication with grassroots bases to spread their ideas about reforming the economy and the political system.

Political analysts believe that these candidates, despite their slim chances of final victory for the presidency, may play a decisive role in tipping the scales for one of the competitors in swing states, by pulling a small but influential percentage of undecided voters' votes in the final moments of election day.
