Tahya Misr Fund Launches Convoys to Support Students of the Neediest Families in Upper Egypt

The Egyptian state has launched a new package of social aid directed at the neediest villages in Faiyum and Luxor governorates, coinciding with the start of the new academic year. The initiative includes the distribution of thousands of school bags and complete uniforms to alleviate living burdens on parents and consolidate the principle of social solidarity in all governorates.

These field actions come in coordination between executive agencies and civil society organizations to ensure support reaches its actual beneficiaries, according to accurate databases that include orphans and breadwinner families. This contributes directly to reducing the phenomenon of school dropouts and supporting the stability of the educational process within public schools in rural and remote areas.

Initiative officials confirmed the continued deployment of service convoys to cover various targeted centers and villages, with an expansion in providing accompanying in-kind and food aid. This is within an integrated national plan aimed at enhancing social protection networks and improving the quality of life for citizens across the Republic, in implementation of presidential directives issued in this regard.
