Nights of Praise and Religious Invocations Light Up Aswan Villages Celebrating Prophet's Birthday

Spiritual atmospheres and popular celebrations continued throughout Aswan Governorate on the occasion of the Prophet's Birthday. Mosque courtyards and public squares were filled with circles of Dhikr and authentic Sufi chanting, with wide participation from major families, youth, and children who gathered to listen to poems of praise and the fragrant biography of the Noble Prophet.

Nubian villages and the centers of Daraw, Kom Ombo, and Edfu displayed signs of joy through the distribution of traditional sweets and religious marches that roamed main streets, affirming the inherited customs and traditions of Upper Egypt residents in commemorating major religious occasions, with strict organization to facilitate citizen movement and provide a comfortable environment for attendees.

Organizers of the religious courtyards explained that these nights include, in addition to prophetic praises, educational seminars and awareness lessons focusing on instilling values of love, peace, and positive coexistence among community members, confirming that celebrations will continue for several days amid community and security cooperation ensuring everyone's safety and joy.
