Drinking Water Supply Returns to Full Capacity in All Port Said Districts After Emergency Maintenance

Port Said Governorate, in coordination with the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, announced the regularity of water pumping and its return to full operational capacity for all residential districts and Port Fuad city. This follows the total completion of emergency technical maintenance and the connection of main discharge lines implemented to raise network efficiency and improve service levels.

Engineering teams explained that pressures returned to normal rates in all areas successively, particularly in high floors and areas located at the network peripheries. They noted that repair operations were carried out according to an intensive schedule and specialized work teams to minimize outage periods and avoid affecting the daily activities of citizens and vital facilities in the governorate.

The governorate's operations room called on citizens to communicate via hotlines in case of any inquiries or localized pressure drops resulting from network sediment. They confirmed the readiness of mobile water tankers and maintenance teams to move immediately and follow up on the stability of supply flow throughout the day to ensure everyone's needs are met without interruption.
