Tahya Misr Fund Launches School Supplies Convoys to Support Thousands of Students in Upper Egypt

The Tahya Misr Fund has launched a new phase of its humanitarian initiative aimed at caring for school pupils in the neediest villages of Faiyum and Luxor. This coincides with the start of the new academic year, as the convoys aim to alleviate living burdens on families and support them in providing essential educational requirements for their children in an organized and free manner.

The aid included the distribution of thousands of school bags equipped with all necessary tools and supplies, along with providing complete school uniforms and shoes for students in cooperation with Social Solidarity directorates and civil society organizations. Beneficiaries were selected via accurate databases to ensure direct support reaches orphans and children of families most in need in remote areas and villages.

This step complements the social protection programs adopted by the Fund nationwide, aimed at reducing school dropout rates and creating an encouraging environment for academic achievement. Initiative officials confirmed that convoys will continue to cover other governorates successively in the coming weeks to double the number of students benefiting from direct care.
