The Cabinet has approved a new package of decisions aimed at easing living burdens on citizens before the start of the new academic year, including increasing the supply of basic commodities in consumer cooperatives and Ministry of Supply outlets with discounts reaching up to 25%.
The government confirmed that a central operations room is monitoring markets around the clock to control prices and prevent monopolies, while intensifying inspection campaigns on bakeries and commercial shops across all governorates.
It emphasized that the coming period will see an expansion of mobile outlets in high-need areas, alongside the continued disbursement of cash support to beneficiaries on schedule without any delay.
