Suez Canal Economic Zone signs contracts for 5 new industrial projects with foreign investment

Signing of new investment contracts within the Suez Canal Economic Zone worth over half a billion dollars to boost national exports.
The Suez Canal Economic Zone announced the signing of final agreements to establish five new industrial and logistical projects within its affiliated ports, with joint foreign and local investments exceeding a total value of five hundred million dollars, aiming to enhance Egypt's export capacity to global markets.
The planned projects include modern textile manufacturing sectors, electrical appliance components, in addition to advanced logistical stations for storing and re-handling goods. This step aims to transform the region into a regional hub and vital supply chains that meet the needs of maritime trade in the Mediterranean and Red Seas.
Authority officials confirmed that these contracts will provide more than seven thousand direct and indirect job opportunities for youth, in addition to transferring advanced industrial technology to the local market, in line with the state's comprehensive plan to localize industries and deepen national production in the coming years.
