Massive Fire Controlled at Wood Furniture Factory in 10th of Ramadan City with No Casualties

Civil Protection forces in Sharqia Governorate managed to extinguish a massive fire that broke out inside a factory dedicated to manufacturing wood furniture in the third industrial zone of 10th of Ramadan City. The fire department deployed ten fire trucks and a strategic water tank to control the flames and prevent them from spreading to neighboring factories and facilities in the area.

The incident began when the emergency operations room received a report of dense smoke columns and flames rising from inside the main operation ward of the factory. Police forces and ambulances immediately moved to the scene, where a security cord was imposed around the facility to facilitate the firemen's mission and limit pedestrian movement.

Firefighting efforts continued for about two hours until the site was completely cooled and it was confirmed that there were no active ignition points. The incident resulted in material losses in equipment and wood without any fatalities or human injuries. Investigative authorities decided to delegate forensic lab experts to determine the cause of the fire.
