Saudi Arabia Holds Training Course for Imams and Preachers in Thailand

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is organizing a religious education course today for imams, sermon leaders and preachers in Thailand.

The program is being arranged through the office of the Islamic adviser at the Saudi embassy in Thailand, which represents the ministry in the country.

Now in its fourth edition, the course aims to promote moderation and balance in religious guidance. It focuses on those whose roles include leading prayers, delivering sermons and religious outreach.

The initiative forms part of the ministry’s continuing efforts to support religious education and strengthen moderate approaches among Islamic religious leaders in Thailand.
