Ronaldo Billboard Quickly Vanishes After Putting Jesus in Awkward Spotlight

A large billboard bearing Cristiano Ronaldo’s name appeared in central Lisbon before quickly disappearing, drawing attention to both the Portuguese star and an awkward question surrounding Jesus.

The message put Ronaldo at the centre of a public display in the Portuguese capital. At the same time, it raised questions about the national team’s coach.

But the billboard’s brief stay became a notable part of the story. The message did not remain in place for long, leaving its disappearance as much a focus as its appearance.

The available details do not establish who was behind the billboard, why it was removed or precisely how its message related to Jesus. Its full wording was also not provided.
