Leao Listed in Portugal’s No. 7 Shirt After Ronaldo Leaves Camp

Rafael Leao is listed to wear Portugal’s No. 7 shirt against Denmark in the UEFA Nations League, with Cristiano Ronaldo absent from the squad after his sudden departure from the national team’s camp.

The shirt assignment appeared in information published on UEFA’s website, a day after Ronaldo left the camp.

The No. 7 jersey is closely associated with Ronaldo, making its allocation to Leao a notable detail ahead of the Denmark fixture.

The listing concerns the upcoming match and does not establish a permanent change to Portugal’s shirt numbers. No reason for Ronaldo’s departure was provided in the information available.
