Rail Installation Begins in Arish for Sinai’s Arish–Taba Route

Work has begun on installing railway tracks in the city of Arish in North Sinai as part of the integrated Arish–Taba international logistics corridor.

The rail works mark a new stage in the corridor’s implementation, with track installation now under way in the northern Sinai city.

The corridor is designed to connect ports and industrial zones to Egypt’s railway network, providing rail links between maritime facilities and production areas.

The Arish–Taba route forms part of that wider logistics connection across Sinai. No completion date or timetable for the start of rail services was provided.
