Al Marar Outlines UAE Approach to Regional Crises

The United Arab Emirates is seeking political solutions to crises across the region, Khalifa bin Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said.

Al Marar outlined an approach that combines efforts to resolve regional crises with a focus on strengthening energy security, trade and supply chains.

His remarks placed these priorities alongside the UAE’s ambitions for international cooperation on water, as the country prepares to co-host the United Nations Water Conference with Senegal.

Al Marar said the UAE hopes the conference will produce an action document, identifying a concrete outcome it wants to secure from the gathering.
