Mourinho Praises Players but Keeps Up Refereeing Jibes After Barcelona Win

José Mourinho praised his players after a 2-1 victory over Barcelona in El Clásico at Spotify Camp Nou, while continuing to take aim at Spanish refereeing.

The win gave Mourinho reason to celebrate his side’s performance in one of football’s fiercest rivalries, with his post-match reaction acknowledging the players’ efforts.

But the result did not bring an end to his jibes at the officiating. Even after beating Barcelona on their home ground, Mourinho kept refereeing in the spotlight.

His response combined satisfaction with his team and continued provocation toward Spanish officials, ensuring the discussion extended beyond the scoreline.
