Iran Reviews New Draft Agreement to End War With US and Israel

Iran is reviewing a new draft agreement presented by Qatari mediators aimed at ending the war with the United States and Israel, according to an official familiar with the negotiations.

The official said Wednesday that the proposal includes a seven-day timetable for implementing reciprocal confidence-building measures.

The draft links those mutual steps to a broader effort to bring the conflict to an end. Details of the proposed measures were not disclosed in the account.

The proposal remains under consideration by Iran. The account did not indicate whether Tehran would accept it or outline the positions of the United States and Israel.
