US President Donald Trump said early Saturday that the war with Iran would end soon “one way or another.”
His remarks offered no specific timetable for an end to the conflict or details on how it might be brought to a close.
Trump also said the United States was having difficulty identifying whom it could deal with in Tehran following the deaths of most Iranian leaders.
His comments pointed to uncertainty over who could serve as a counterpart for Washington, even as he predicted that the war was nearing its end.
