Israeli Forces Block Palestinians From Entering or Leaving Hebron

Israeli forces prevented Palestinians from entering or leaving Hebron, tightening movement restrictions around the city.

Palestinians were held for hours at the Qalqas barrier south of Hebron before being barred from travelling into or out of the city.

The restrictions were accompanied by heightened military measures and the closure of entrances to Hebron and its surrounding towns and refugee camps.

The closures restricted access across the area, extending beyond the southern barrier to routes serving nearby communities.
