Arab Scientists Open Space Week With Talks Ahead of Joint Saturn Observation

The Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences is bringing together 15 speakers for a scientific gathering marking World Space Week, with discussions spanning a range of astronomy and space topics.

The programme moves from rockets to Saturn, linking space technology with the study of the skies in a shared forum for Arab scientists.

The gathering also serves as a lead-in to a coordinated Arab observation of Saturn, planned for the end of next week.

That observation will give the week’s discussions a common focus, taking the programme from scientific dialogue to a joint effort to observe the planet.
