Istanbul Symposium to Explore Quranic Responses to Modern Crises

Istanbul will host an international symposium next month examining how the Quran’s vision can inform responses to the crises facing contemporary society.

Academics and thinkers from 60 countries across five continents are set to participate, bringing a broad international perspective to the discussions.

The symposium will focus on justice, spirituality and civilization, placing these themes at the center of its examination of modern challenges.

Its central question is how Quranic perspectives can contribute to addressing the problems of contemporary civilization, linking academic inquiry with concerns about society’s direction.
