Iraq’s Sovereignty Day Marks New Stage in State’s Journey, Envoy to Egypt Says

Iraq’s ambassador to Egypt, Dr. Qahtan Taha Khalaf, said Sovereignty Day represents a new phase in the Iraqi state’s journey.

Khalaf stressed that reaching this milestone was not the result of a single moment. Rather, he said, it was the outcome of a gradual process of work.
