Trump threatens Iran with ‘very powerful strike’ if role in Flydubai incident is confirmed

Trump warned Iran of a “very powerful strike” if its involvement in an incident concerning a Flydubai aircraft is established.

Speaking during an informal exchange with reporters at the White House, Trump said he believed Iran was involved, while indicating that the matter was still being examined.

“I would say the answer is yes, based on what I’m hearing, but we are working on this at this very moment,” he said.

His remarks did not confirm Iranian involvement or provide evidence supporting his assessment. The threat of a strike was conditional on establishing a link between Iran and the incident.
