Fahmy Congratulates Fatima Zahra El Mansouri on Appointment as Morocco’s First Woman Head of Government

Nabil Fahmy, secretary-general of the Arab League, has congratulated Fatima Zahra El Mansouri on her appointment as Morocco’s head of government.

El Mansouri becomes the first woman to hold the position in the kingdom, marking a milestone for women’s representation in Morocco’s political leadership.

Fahmy also extended congratulations to Morocco’s king, government and people on the successful legislative elections.

His message combined recognition of the electoral process with congratulations to El Mansouri as she takes on the leadership of the government.
