Trump Renews Pledge of $5,000 for Every American Adult if Republicans Win Congress

US President Donald Trump has reiterated his pledge to provide a $5,000 check to every American adult if his Republican Party wins the congressional midterm elections.

Trump tied the proposed payments to a Republican victory, presenting them as a conditional promise rather than an immediate benefit.

The renewed pledge puts a direct financial incentive at the center of his appeal for Republican support in the congressional contest, which determines control of the House and Senate.

Details on funding, eligibility requirements and when the checks would be distributed remain unspecified in the information available about the pledge.
