Al-Tayeb Condemns Karak Church Attack, Affirms Al-Azhar’s Solidarity With Jordan

Al-Azhar Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb has strongly condemned an attack that targeted innocent people at a church in Jordan’s southern governorate of Karak on Friday.

Al-Tayeb described the assault as a “heinous terrorist attack,” denouncing it in the strongest terms.

His condemnation focused on the targeting of innocent people inside a place of worship.

The grand imam also affirmed Al-Azhar’s solidarity with Jordan following the attack.
