Taraf and Mubadala to Study Waterfront Development on Abu Dhabi’s Al Reem Island

Taraf, the real estate development arm of Yas Holding, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Mubadala Investment Company to study a major mixed-use project on Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi.

The proposed waterfront development would form part of an integrated master plan for the island, bringing the two companies together to examine its development.

The master plan aims to improve quality of life, ease movement and strengthen connections across the island’s urban areas. These goals provide the framework for the proposed project.

The agreement covers a study of the development rather than a confirmed launch. Details of the project’s size, cost and timetable were not provided in the announcement.
