Black Bear Bypasses Produce in Search of Pastries at Colorado Market

A black bear made an unusual appearance at a farmers’ market in downtown Aspen, in the US state of Colorado, last week.

The animal entered the market, where its search for food took it past the fruit and vegetables and toward pastries.

Video of the incident captured the unexpected visitor at a setting more commonly associated with shoppers browsing fresh produce.

The brief account did not say whether the bear managed to get any pastries or how its visit to the market ended.
