Trump threatens Iran with ‘very strong strike’ if role in Flydubai incident is confirmed

Trump has threatened Iran with a “very strong strike” if its involvement in an incident involving a Flydubai aircraft is established.

Speaking during an informal exchange with reporters at the White House, Trump said he believed Iran was involved.

“I would say the answer is yes, based on what I’m hearing, but we are working on this at this very moment,” he said.

His remarks paired a warning of military action with an acknowledgment that the matter was still being examined. He did not present Iran’s involvement as a confirmed finding in the comments provided.
