Sudan’s RSF Accused of Deliberately Targeting Hospitals in El Fasher

The findings concern attacks during the force’s prolonged siege of the city and its subsequent capture a year ago.

The evidence points to deliberate targeting of hospitals, suggesting that the destruction of medical facilities was systematic rather than incidental to the fighting.

The allegations place the treatment of healthcare facilities at the centre of scrutiny over the RSF’s conduct in El Fasher, both during the siege and as it took control of the city.
