Obama Attacks Trump While Campaigning for Democrats Ahead of Midterms

Former US President Barack Obama criticised President Donald Trump’s administration while campaigning for Democrats ahead of the midterm elections.

“These elections are our best last chance to rein in some of the foolishness this administration is engaged in,” Obama said.

His remarks cast the vote as an opportunity to curb the administration’s actions, putting opposition to Trump at the centre of his appeal for Democratic support.

By describing the elections as a “best last chance,” Obama struck an urgent tone, urging voters to see the midterms as a check on the president’s leadership.
