Siri AI in iOS 27 Set to Be Limited to Newer Apple Devices

Siri AI is among the standout upgrades highlighted for iOS 27 and Apple’s other operating system updates, but the enhanced assistant will be supported only on newer Apple devices.

The compatibility restriction means the upgraded Siri will not be available across Apple’s entire device lineup. Owners of older hardware should not assume that their devices will support the feature.

Support for an operating system update and access to its individual features are separate questions. For users interested in Siri AI, compatibility with the enhanced assistant will be the key detail to check.

The available information does not identify supported models or specify the hardware requirements. A model-by-model compatibility list is therefore needed to establish which iPhones and other Apple devices can run the upgraded Siri.
