Safari’s New ‘Notify Me’ Feature Alerts Users to Website Updates

Apple has added a new Safari feature called “Notify Me” as part of macOS 27 Golden Gate, allowing users to receive notifications when website content changes.

The feature offers a way to keep track of updates without repeatedly returning to a page to check whether anything new has been published.

For users following changing online content, the key benefit is the alert itself: Safari can notify them of an update, prompting them to revisit the website.

The announcement describes what Notify Me does but does not provide the steps needed to activate it. Details about where to find the setting, which websites support it and how to manage its alerts were not included.
