El-Badry: Crowd Presence Mainly a Morale Boost for ENPPI

ENPPI head coach Hossam El-Badry says the decision on whether to allow spectators at his side’s upcoming Confederation Cup match against the Burundian champions will have little impact on his players.

El-Badry said his team would not be greatly affected whether the fixture is played in front of fans or behind closed doors.

“We do not have a large fan base, so it is a matter of morale in any case,” he said.

His comments framed crowd support primarily as an emotional lift for ENPPI, rather than a factor he expects to significantly influence the players in the upcoming encounter.
