Egyptians Gather at New York’s Paley Museum to Support National Team Against Iran

Members of the Egyptian community in New York gathered at The Paley Museum to watch Egypt face Iran in the Pharaohs’ final group-stage match at the 2026 World Cup.

The gathering followed an invitation from Ambassador Tamer El-Meligy, Egypt’s consul general in New York, bringing a large number of supporters together to cheer on the national team.

The event gave Egyptians in the city an opportunity to follow the match alongside fellow members of the community as Egypt concluded its group-stage fixtures.

Support for the Pharaohs was the focus of the gathering, linking fans in New York with the national team’s World Cup campaign.
