Al-Reyada Party Leader Says Sisi’s October Messages Affirm Egypt’s Ability to Overcome Challenges

Kamal Hassanein, chairman of the Al-Reyada Party and organising secretary of the Egyptian Parties Alliance, said President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s messages during celebrations marking the 53rd anniversary of the October victory affirmed Egypt’s ability to overcome challenges.

Hassanein linked the president’s anniversary messages to confidence in the country’s capacity to navigate difficulties. His assessment placed that theme at the centre of his response to the commemorations.

The remarks referred to Sisi’s messages during the celebrations, rather than to a specific policy announcement. The brief account did not identify the challenges Hassanein was referring to.

It also provided no direct quotations from the president or further details of Hassanein’s comments on the anniversary.
