Sahar Sedky: Alamein–Africa Forum Offers Platform for Lasting Continental Partnerships

Egypt’s hosting of the inaugural Alamein–Africa Business Forum 2026 marks an important step toward strengthening its economic presence across Africa, MP Sahar Sedky said.

The member of the House of Representatives described the forum as a new platform for building sustainable partnerships across the continent.

Her remarks placed the emphasis on lasting economic ties, presenting the forum as an opportunity to support cooperation between Egypt and its African partners.

Sedky’s assessment linked the significance of hosting the first edition to Egypt’s wider economic engagement in Africa, with sustainable continental partnerships at the heart of that outlook.
