Congress Party: Sisi Sets Out Roadmap for African Integration and Development

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s address at an African Union meeting outlined a roadmap for strengthening African integration and advancing the continent’s development, according to a senior Congress Party representative.

Dr. El-Sayed Ghoneim, head of the party’s parliamentary group in the Egyptian Senate, offered the assessment in comments on the president’s speech.

Sisi delivered the address during the closing session of the African Union’s eighth coordination meeting.

Ghoneim’s remarks highlighted African integration and continent-wide development as the central aims of the roadmap he said the president had presented.
