Cairo Intensifies Inspections of Markets and Bakeries

Cairo’s Supply Directorate is stepping up inspection campaigns targeting markets and bakeries across the capital.

The increased oversight follows directives from Dr Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, to intensify monitoring of markets and commercial activities.

The campaigns also come in response to instructions from Cairo Governor Dr Ibrahim Saber, with the directorate carrying out the checks at the local level.
