Abdel Ghani: Parliament’s Mandate for Sisi to Support Saudi Arabia Reflects Egypt’s Strength

Rashad Abdel Ghani, a senior official in the Mostaqbal Watan Party, said parliament’s authorization for President Sisi to support Saudi Arabia demonstrated the strength of the Egyptian state.

Abdel Ghani pointed to the majority approval in the House of Representatives, chaired by Hisham Badawi, as the basis for that mandate.

The party official serves as assistant secretary of Mostaqbal Watan’s central secretariat for domestic and foreign trade.

His remarks framed the parliamentary decision as a sign of national strength, linking lawmakers’ backing for the president with Egypt’s support for Saudi Arabia.
