Thousands Mourn Karak Church Attack Victims With Hymns and Wreaths

Thousands of Jordanians gathered in the village of Al-Hamoud in Jordan’s Karak governorate for the funerals of eight people killed in an armed attack on a church.

The victims were among nine people whose lives were lost in the attack on Friday. Mourners travelled to the village to pay their final respects.

Hymns and floral wreaths marked the farewell as the crowds accompanied the victims’ bodies to their funerals.

The funeral of the ninth victim is scheduled to take place on Monday in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
