Engineers’ Legal Support Conference Recommends Model Employment Contract

The first awareness conference organised by the Engineers Syndicate’s Legal Support Committee has recommended preparing a model employment contract for engineers.

The proposal was among the main recommendations from the conference, which focused on helping engineers understand their legal and professional rights and obligations.

Under the recommendation, the Engineers Syndicate would draw up the model contract and the Lawyers Syndicate would review it.

The proposed document would serve as a reference for employment contracts. Its preparation was put forward as a recommendation, rather than announced as a completed measure.
