Egypt and Algeria Discuss Cooperation on Waste Management and Nature Protection

Egypt’s Minister of Local Development and Environment, Manal Awad, met with Algeria’s Minister of Environment and Quality of Life, Kaouthar Krikou, to discuss environmental cooperation.

The talks explored opportunities for the two countries to work together across a range of environmental fields.

Waste management was among the areas covered as the ministers considered prospects for bilateral cooperation.

The discussions also addressed nature protection, alongside the broader review of potential environmental partnerships between Egypt and Algeria.
