Aviation Minister: Better Air Links and Airport Efficiency Support Inbound Growth

Egypt’s Civil Aviation Minister Sameh El-Hefny said expanding air connectivity and improving airport efficiency would help increase inbound traffic to the country.

He stressed that developing Egypt’s tourism offering was not the responsibility of a single sector, but required coordination across several areas.

That effort must bring together aviation, tourism, transport, services and marketing, the minister said, highlighting their shared role in strengthening the country’s appeal to visitors.

His remarks placed aviation improvements within a broader approach to tourism development, linking better access and airport performance with the services and promotion that support the visitor experience.
