Egyptian MP Praises Sisi’s Leadership After Four-Way Alamein Summit

Egyptian lawmaker Youssef Rashdan has praised President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi following the four-way consultative summit in New Alamein, saying it demonstrated his standing as a wise leader in Africa.

The gathering brought together Sisi and leaders from Eritrea, Somalia and Sudan for consultations in the Egyptian city.

Rashdan, a member of Egypt’s House of Representatives, said the summit showed that Sisi deserved the description “the wise man of the African continent.”

The lawmaker’s remarks focused on Sisi’s leadership, presenting the meeting with the three African countries’ leaders as evidence supporting that assessment.
