Taiz Faces New Security Measures as Houthi Attacks Resume on Jabal Han

Taiz is facing new security measures amid a rapid military escalation, following renewed Houthi attacks on the Jabal Han front.

The attacks are aimed at securing control of the overlooking mountain peaks, making the high ground a central focus of the fighting.

The Houthi offensive also seeks to seize the al-Dhabab road, described as the city’s remaining vital lifeline. The renewed push threatens a route critical to Taiz’s connection with areas beyond the city.

No details were provided about the new security measures. The immediate focus remains on the attacks around Jabal Han and the effort to gain control of the road.
