Bruno Fernandes Says Ronaldo Will Remain Portugal’s Greatest Icon

Bruno Fernandes has denied that Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure from Portugal’s training camp caused a split within the national team.

Fernandes reaffirmed Ronaldo’s standing, saying he would remain the team’s “greatest icon” despite the controversy surrounding his exit from the camp.

His comments addressed both the suggestion of divisions in the squad and the debate over Ronaldo’s departure. Fernandes rejected the idea that the episode had left the team divided.

He also called for respect for all parties and urged an end to the controversy, pairing his defence of team unity with a clear tribute to Ronaldo’s place in Portugal’s football history.
