Egyptian Workers Are Partners in Iraq’s Reconstruction, Arab Union Official Says

Egyptian workers are a key part of Iraq’s construction and reconstruction sector, according to trade union official Rahim al-Ghanimi.

Al-Ghanimi is deputy president of the General Federation of Trade Unions in Iraq and secretary-general of the Arab Professional Union of Building and Wood Workers.

He highlighted the contribution of Egyptian labour to building activity in Iraq, describing it as one of the sector’s principal components.

His remarks underscored the role of Egyptian workers as partners in Iraq’s rebuilding efforts.
