Ain Shams Dentistry Dean: Outstanding Dentists Need Knowledge, Skill and Compassion

Dr. Karim El-Batouty, dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University, told students that an outstanding dentist combines scientific knowledge, practical skill and a compassionate heart.

His message was addressed to the faculty’s students on the occasion of the academic year, placing compassion alongside the technical foundations of their future profession.

El-Batouty opened with a warm greeting, addressing the students as his sons and daughters.

The dean’s central message presented excellence in dentistry as more than academic achievement or manual ability: it also requires a humane approach to caring for others.
