Trump Threatens Iran With ‘Very Strong Strike’ if Role in Flydubai Incident Is Confirmed
Automated summary•2 October 2026 at 09:27
Trump warned Iran of a “very strong strike” if its involvement in an incident involving a Flydubai aircraft is established.
Speaking informally with reporters at the White House, he said he believed Iran was involved, citing information he had been hearing.
“I would say the answer is yes, based on what I’m hearing, but we are working on this at this very moment,” Trump said.
His remarks stopped short of confirming Iranian responsibility. The threat of a strike was conditional on establishing Tehran’s role in the incident.
